Young Ambassador Experience

Previously known as the Showgirl Competition and Young Women Experience, the Young Ambassador Experience recognises and supports young people who are passionate advocates for rural life, agriculture, and community across the Coffs Coast and beyond.

This program is not a beauty contest. It celebrates individuals who are wholesome, well-rounded, community-minded, and who understand the vital role agriculture plays in our region and across Australia. The experience provides participants with opportunities to develop leadership skills, build confidence, and strengthen their involvement within the agricultural and wider community.

The Senior Winner (18–24 years) will represent Coffs Harbour at Zone level, competing against other Zone 1 finalists. From there, two Zone finalists will progress to the Sydney Royal Easter Show.

Question 2. The Coffs Harbour region produces around 55% of Australia’s national supply of which food?

Question 3. In 2026, food prices around the world have been rising. Can you name a reason why it’s becoming harder and more expensive to grow or transport food globally?

3. The Official Reception, a networking-style function, will be held at the Coffs Harbour Showground on Thursday, 30 April, 5:30 pm in the Pavilion

4. Saturday 2 May-The Coffs Harbour Show. Young Ambassador entrants receive free entry.

At 1:45 we will meet at the vintage cars. We have the opportunity to be in the vintage cars for the Grand Parade that starts at 2pm. The winners will be announced during the parade.
